Executors: some help dealing with digital assets of an estate

There's an increasing awareness of the need to plan ahead for our executors to deal with any digital assets we may have. That's all well and good, but what if you're already an executor dealing with an estate of someone who may or may not have planned for this? Do you know what you should do, can do or have a right to do?

A colleague of mine in Saskatchewan recently sent me the attached article (thanks, Wyn!) that has specific ideas and information for executors. This is the best article I've read about digital assets, in that it lists steps an executor can take and takes us through the process in a logical way. Click here to read this article by Richard Weiland, which appeared on the blog published by the law firm of Clark Wilson LLP.
