Choosing the "right" executor
Posted by
Lynne Butler, BA LLB
As a follow-up to my recent post about choosing an executor, I decided to share a link to a new post by Elaine Blades, a wills and estates lawyer who blogs at www.allaboutestates.ca. In her article, Ms. Blades talks about the various factors that are considered when deciding what an executor is entitled to charge for his work - and how a completely inexperienced relative is entitled to charge as much as the most tried and true professional executor. It's definitely something worth thinking about. Click here to read the article.
