French horror at "Anglo-Saxon" welfare reforms

In France, people are upset at their president's suggestion that the retirement age should be raised from 60 to 62. This is proposed for financial reasons, of course. You'll note from the article that most countries currently have a retirement age of 65, as we do here in Canada. Click here to read the article.
