For those of you who are fans of Newfoundland culture or history (and/or just love reading a good story) check out the new summer issue of
Newfoundland Quarterly. I'm pleased to say the print issue carries a lengthy article I wrote called "Into the Mist". It's the true story of a murder, prison escape, and manhunt that occurred here in the 1880s. I had a great time researching and writing it, and I think you'll enjoy reading it.
