I'm not a fan of the zombie genre of movies, books and TV shows, but I know that millions of other people are. In case you know anyone who is actually undead, you might want to pass on this true story of what happened to a man in Ohio recently. He was declared dead in the 1980s after he disappeared. He came back recently and applied to the court to reverse the declaration of death, but the court refused. Even though he was standing right there, they couldn't legally reverse the declaration. So now this guy is... what? Alive? Dead? Undead?
Click here to read a more detailed story about this unusual case by Stuart Clark at www.advocatedaily.com. Mr. Clark describes what would happen if this case had occurred in Ontario and concludes that the undead person could be alive, but would be broke because his estate would have been distributed.
So, I'm not a fan of zombie movies, but I am definitely a fan of truth-is-stranger-than-fiction stories!
