Credit card bills in an estate: there is only one good time to pay

Our friends over at www.allaboutestates.ca have posted another very informative article that is definitely worth a read by anyone currently acting as an executor. Specifically, it talks about the potential liability of an executor who pays unsecured bills such as credit cards before obtaining a tax clearance certificate. Remember that the tax clearance certificate is the executor's official notification that all outstanding taxes have been paid. Click here to read the article.
