450 year old will found in Spain sheds light on Canadian history

A 450-year-old will? Recently a will written by a Basque fisherman was found that gives historical evidence of 16th century Newfoundland. Historians both in Spain and in Newfoundland are pretty excited about this find. Click here to read the story and see a video from CBC. Personally, I'd like to get a look at it not just for the history of the people involved, but for the history of wills! They are trying to raise money to pay for a translation and I think I might just have to chip in.
