Enlisting doctors to screen for financial fraud

Sadly, elder financial abuse is nothing short of an epidemic these days. According to today's Wall Street Journal, it's gotten to the point in the USA that they have been setting up pilot projects since 2008 to bring in doctors with some experience with dementia patients. It's an incredibly delicate balance for lawyers who work with elderly people to ensure that a person's wishes are carried out, but to spot situations in which someone else is forcing something on the elderly person that's not really their wishes.
