Beneficiary designation forms - do they matter?

The feedback I get from readers of this blog suggests that posts that talk about the mechanics of wills and estates - that is, how things are actually done - are very useful to you. With that in mind, I'm attaching a link to the Winter 2014 Wills and Estates Newsletter from Ontario lawyers Stancer Gossin Rose LLP. Click here to read it. It talks about why you need that beneficiary designation form you received when you set up an RRSP or life insurance policy.

As an added benefit, it describes how Ontario calculates the Estate Administration Tax on any given estate.
