Presently in Canada, the Canada Business Corporations Act and recent case law is consistent with the U.K. equivalent. The fiduciary duties of directors are owed to the corporation itself.
ReplyDeleteOwners need to plan the succession for their businesses so that they will be ready for the future. Things that might happen when they're already successful. When they're successful, it doesn't mean that they already got what they want. It may just only be the beginning of their plans. Corporate lawyer philippines
