I'd like to send a shout out to the volunteers who work at the St. John's Seniors' Resource Centre. I had an excellent session today with the group of folks who answer the phone when someone needs help or information. We spent a couple of hours exchanging information and talking through some real-life scenarios of seniors who had called with issues relating to wills or Powers of Attorney. They are a hard-working group, interested in knowing as much as they can about the law that affects their callers. To volunteers at seniors' help lines, information lines and support lines everywhere, thanks for being there when you're needed.
