Tax elections: paper filing in the electronic age
Posted by

It's tax time! I've just come across a very useful tip from our friends over at www.allaboutestates.ca for executors filing income tax returns on behalf of an estate. Did you know that you might be required to file a paper return for the estate even though you've already filed electronically? Click here to read the article. As always, I encourage executors to hire experienced accountants to prepare and file estate returns; it's just foolish for an executor to try to do this on his/her own.
