When to make a marriage agreement part of your estate planning

I recently came across this article from Donna Neff, a lawyer in Ontario. It very clearly talks about how a marriage agreement can help a married couple meet their estate planning goals. The issue that Ms. Neff addresses is how the husband and wife can ensure that should one of them pass away, the other won't make unilateral changes to their estate planning.
