Acting under a power of attorney in BC? Changes are coming.

Anyone who is appointed under a Power of Attorney in British Columbia should read this post by Stan Rule, a BC lawyer. He talks about the changes that are coming to BC on September 1, 2011 as the province brings in new legislation. It looks like the new law specifically spells out the duties of a person acting under a Power of Attorney, which can only be helpful as so few people really understand what they are supposed to be doing.
