The folks at National Initiative for Care of the Elderly sent me this information about an upcoming conference at the University of Toronto, which I believe will be of interest to some of you.

Aging, Old Age, Memory, Aesthetics Conference UofT, March 25-27th, 2011

Dear colleagues and friends,

The "Aging, Old Age, Memory, Aesthetics" Conference is coming soon! This event will be held between March 25-27th, 2011, in Room 100A of the Jackman Humanities Building, 170 St George Street, University of Toronto.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:
Kathleen Woodward (English & Dir. Simpson Center for the Humanities, Washington)
Stephen Katz (Sociology, Trent)
Philip Sohm (Art History, Toronto)
Ian Lancashire (English, Toronto)
Linda & Michael Hutcheon (English and Comparative Literature / Medicine, Toronto)

The preliminary programme is available via the conference website. In addition to the conference panels, we will be hosting a conference reception (5-6pm) immediately following the Friday afternoon keynote addresses by Ian Lancashire and Linda & Michael Hutcheon (March 25th). All are welcome and warmly invited.
