The Institute for Life Course and Aging Winter Workshops

I received the following note today from the National Initiative for Care of the Elderly, telling me about some current and upcoming courses. I thought I'd post it here in case any readers are interested in these, or future, offerings.

The Institute for Life Course and Aging Winter Workshops
Hello NICE members,
The Institute for Life Course and Aging at the University of Toronto currently has two winter workshops that you might be interested in participating in.
There is a 5 week online workshop on Aging and Mental Health, and a 6 week webcast workshop on Elder Abuse, so anyone anywhere can join in.
The Aging and Mental Health workshop began yesterday (Jan 6th), and though the deadline is past, it will still be possible to enrol in the next few days, as you work on your own schedule, through 5 weekly topics. Click

The 6 week Elder Abuse workshop will begin in February and will be held at the Institute on Wednesdays from 12-1:30pm. You can participate in the live presentations through the internet, and ask questions during the workshop using your keyboard.
The deadline for registration for the Elder Abuse Workshop is next Friday January 14th. Click
