Is a basic estate plan enough?
Posted by

This article talks about three major disadvantages of settling for an estate plan that is too basic for your needs. Click here to read it. I should point out that the section on taxes refers to the American tax situation, which was in a state of transition for 2010. I generally avoid postings on this blog that mention American taxes, but in this case the rest of the article was bang on so it was worth including. Also, the general concept that failing to plan for reducing and/or paying taxes at death is a valid point here, regardless of the current American situation.
