Tender loving greed: the patient as prey

As well as better care and treatment, Canadians with dementia badly need protection from people who are out to get their money. So says the Globe and Mail in an outstanding article that really reveals what is going on in many families affected by a person suffering from dementia. The article features Douglas Melville, Canada's banking ombudsman, who I had the great fortune to hear give a presentation a few months ago in Toronto. Click here to read the article.
